Welcome to Athill Shetland Sheepdogs we are Lee-Ann & Mike Hochins, Athill Reg'd is located just outside beautiful northwestern Ontario city of Thunder Bay.

At Athill Shetland Sheepdogs we are always striving to produce "The Versatile Sheltie", able to do it all. From the show ring, to stock dog, to cherished family companion. Our breeding stock is selected with these attributes in mind, total health, working ability, easy trainability and type. Bred to the standard and sound in body and mind.

Our shelties are our constant companions and are always at the foot of the bed at the end of the day. Although we do have kennel runs we rarely have to use them. Our shelties are 100% housedogs and get their exercise running and playing in our large fenced yard and through daily walks and visits to our favorite parks. Our dogs are also involved in obedience, rally-o, herding, confirmation and agility as well.

We believe that a happy & healthy dog is maintained with proper nutrition, and so our shelties are fed a variety of human grade super premium dry food formulas that suit each of our individual dogs needs. We do all required testing on our studs & broodbitches, our shelties are Certified for Hips, Thyroid, vWD & Cerf eye testing is done yearly.
